「共有化」は通常、「communization」ではなく、「standardization of use」あるいは「encourage widespread use of」と表現します。「情報の共有化」は、「communizing information」よりも「sharing information」の方がはるかに自然な翻訳です。

「事務所などの共有はしているものの、業務内容は両者異なり」という一節を英訳するなら、

although the companies share offices and the like, their business are different to each other

よりも、

although the two companies share offices and other facilities, the two businesses are different to each other

の方が好ましいでしょう。
